Lesson Overview
We are positive that your intermediate ESL students will enjoy this topic for conversation practice! We introduce the topic with a video, we believe that a vocabulary exercise is needed for students to progress. This ESL Protest Conversation lesson plan starts off with an informative video highlighting events that took place at a protest in London. Then, students have to complete a quick vocabulary exercise to make sure they learn new words.
Thereafter, students focus solely on free conversation. They are prompted with multiple discussion questions to ensure they always have something to say.
