Lesson Overview

This ESL crisis management lesson plan uses an excellent video, contains great exercises, and studies the 3rd conditional. We are sure all B2-C1 ESL students will love it!

This ESL crisis management lesson plan starts with a fun discussion task. Then, students learn about a crisis management process using an interesting article, and learners are challenged to complete the headings on the article.  

Following that, learners create business collocations before finding the correct definitions and answering questions. Next, students discuss the topic of the video, before analyzing specific quotes taken from the video. 

An awesome video by Business Insider is explored with a speaking and vocabulary activity. Afterwards, is a 3rd conditionals activity where students are given a grammar explanation, and questions. Students are encouraged to use the grammar as part of the next activity which explores various case studies. Activities:

Homework

In this ESL crisis management lesson plan, students get the chance to learn new words related to crisis management. They will study another crisis case study, before answering questions about it. All of this will allow them to use their newly acquired language in a natural way, and will allow them to practice their writing skills. Activities:
