In this ESL Tense Review lesson, students begin by learning the theory and reading through examples. They also have to complete a task where they identify the tenses.

Later, students get to practice themselves with five useful exercises. They have to complete sentences for examples in all four tenses to ensure that they understand the difference and when to use which tense.

Students have to interpret and complete a short reading where they have to use all four tenses. Lastly, students have to write answers to questions which will force them to use these four tenses.
