Unit Overview
Level 1 is ideal for young learners who have a basic understanding of English and are ready to build on their foundation. Equivalent to the A0-A1 level, students will expand their vocabulary and start forming simple sentences!
In Level 1, lessons focus on introducing new words and phrases. Through engaging activities and games, students will practice using English in various contexts.
Each unit in Level 1 includes three lesson plans, with a minimum length of 45 minutes per lesson. These plans are crafted to reinforce learning through repetition and visual aids, ensuring that students grasp and retain new information.

We have had great success with this class, receiving positive feedback from parents and teachers alike! The class provides the necessary scaffolding for kids to learn new words, phrases and form sentences. The lesson covers plurals and spelling before culminating with an educational, fun game.

Lesson 2
This fantastic ESL Kids lesson plan begins by reviewing the previous class. Then new words are learned with a fun Q&A exercise. Next, children learn colours and complete sentences before completing a reading activity. It finishes with an educational, fun game.

Lesson 3
We are excited to post lesson 3! It starts by recapping the previous class. Next, is a great vocabulary exercise called ‘fruits v vegetables’ so we advise completing the ‘Fruit’ unit before delivering this class. Then, there is a dialogue and reading activity before finishing with an educational game.
